i find it reassuring that through all our hectic lives and busy schedules, the one thing that will always be constant is time. no matter what we do with our own alottment of it, time will always trundle along at exactly the same pace. a minute will always last exactly sixty seconds, there will always be exactly sixty minutes to an hour, and so forth.
that something can exist which has absolutely no elasticity or room for improvement astounds me. it brings order to my life, which i crave.
